Whether for study or work or life, keep a journal digitally or physically that you maintain of activities and actions that have worked well, as well as those with a need for improvement. Capture the insight as to what you did that was good, and what needed to be done better, and how. Review regularly to avoid making the same mistakes twice and to encode the behaviour and mindset needed to get it right next time. When redoing the task, whether it is practising an instrument or doing a meeting or event or piece of content, focus on practising the correct way to make it into a habit.
